The Distance Project 1
There are many more people taking exercise in the Ouzel Valley Park in Milton Keynes lately, possibly because it’s one of the few things we can still do with the lockdown in force. I’ve been asking some of them to pose for pictures. This is a photo project.
Nearly every photo is framed so that there’s a good two metres between the subject and the sides of the picture. With this framing, I’ve been taking the photos from about five metres away.
I hate to state the flaming obvious, but I’ll be complying with the spirit and the letter of the regulations while carrying out this project.
I will be continuing while the lockdown is in force, and will be posting more photos, which you can find here.
These ten photos are from my first two sessions.

In this (continuing) project I've been photographing what people are doing differently under lockdown, and the scope widened after the first few weeks. So far, there have been 17 posts and over 150 photographs.
